Foreign Politicians To Visit NZ For Falun Gong
Media Release:
Distinguished foreign politicians to visit New Zealand 24-25 August 2006:
Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice-President of the European Parliament and David
Kilgour, Former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia Pacific)
Visit concerning organ seizures from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners in
China
On invitation by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong
(CIPFG), David Kilgour, former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia Pacific)
and Crown Prosecutor and Edward McMillan-Scott, Vice-President of the
European Parliament, will visit New Zealand on August 24-25, 2006 to present
and discuss the recent findings of independent investigations of organ
harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. The pair will be
available for interviews to discuss their findings in detail, and what the
Western world can do to help these inhumanities stop.
“We believe that there has been and continues today to be large-scale organ
seizures from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners… The allegations, if true,
would represent a grotesque form of evil which, despite all the depravations
humanity has seen, would be new to this planet."
“Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in
China”, Co-authored by David Kilgour and David Matas, international human
rights lawyer. Full report can be viewed at:

the strategic relationship of the European Parliament and the Chinese
Communist Party and became the first Western politician to go to Tibet,
