Een internationale coalitie van parlementairen uit Australië, Noord-Amerika en Europa wil naar China afreizen om daar een onderzoek uit te voeren naar de vervolging van de Falun Gong-beoefenaars. Terdoodveroordeelde Falun Gong-leden zouden als eersten dienen als orgaandonoren. David Kilgour en David Matas, het duo dat een onderzoek uitvoerde naar de Chinese handel in organen van gedetineerde beoefenaars van de Falun Gong-beweging, riepen dinsdag de Vlaamse politici op om China onder druk te zetten. Zo hopen ze die praktijken op die manier een halt toe te roepen.
